Our goal
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the standard most public websites in the U.S. work toward.
What we've done
- Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline.
- Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- A pause button on the auto-scrolling before/after photo carousel, and the animation stops automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Real headings, buttons, and links — not styled boxes — so assistive tech can navigate the page.
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of the page.
- Touch targets sized for fingers on a phone.
